Brenda Aranda was selected to be part of the Youth Ambassador Program this upcoming summer.  She found out about The Youth Ambassadors Program from her AP Spanish IV teacher, Mr. Sologuren.  This amazing program brings together high school students and adult mentors from countries across the Americas to promote mutual understanding, increase leadership skills, and prepare youth to make a difference in their communities.

Exchanges are primarily from Latin America and the Caribbean to the United States, but also include delegations from the United States to select countries.  Brenda will be working in Dominican Republic with American and Dominican students.

Brenda will engage in workshops, community service activities, team building exercises, meetings with community leaders, and home stays with American families.  Upon her return home, Brenda will apply what she has learned to implement projects that serve needs in her community.
