Alexsandra Martinez Cruz, Astridcarolina Rostro-Torres, Cristal Rodriguez and Tianna Branch made Chef J. Blackwell very proud. “Friday night my girls wanted all the SMOKE,” said Chef Blackwell.

There were four teams; one from Dallas ISD, Frisco ISD, Arlington ISD, and HEB ISD. “Each of the teams put it all on the plate,” said Chef Blackwell. Each team showed up and showed out! The Skyline Raiders took home 2nd Place, with a $5,000 check, $500 gift card, and will be the celebrity chefs at one of the Cowboys home games.

I’m beyond proud of my team of all ladies. We will be ready for that $10,000 check next year. If you have one of these AWARD winning ladies in your class, tell them Congratulations!! – Chef Jason Blackwell (Redefining the Art of Culinary)

Skyline’s amazing future chefs will have an opportunity to cook and then watch the game from a Cowboys AT&T Stadium luxury suite.

The Raider Cafe (Culinary Arts) winning dish was the peach cobbler sensation. This is a funnel cake topped with peach cobbler filling with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with a vanilla pudding glaze. The monster cookie is also a favorite!
